Excellence in Construction Award
The Michiana Builders Association selected Eye Care Associates of Michiana as the winner of their 2006 Excellence in Construction Award, for the “Interior-Commercial” category. Eye Care Associates’ new facility was designed by Helman Architects, built by Ancon Construction, and the interior was completed by Ideal Interiors of South Bend. These awards are presented annually to honor local architects and business owners on their excellence in area construction.
Fairbanks Award
Ancon projects have been recognized by the Chamber of Commerce of Elkhart County with their Fairbanks Award. Ancon is proud to have contributed toward making these businesses Fairbanks Award winners:

The Fairbanks Award is given to recognize businesses that have made an outstanding contribution toward the beautification of our community under the criteria established by the Greater Elkhart Chamber of Commerce. Nominations are received by and/or made by the Fairbanks Task Force which is a part of the Business Recognition Council. All nominees are then viewed, and recommendations are made to the entire council. Candidates are judged using the following criteria:
- Beautification of existing property through renovation and/or landscaping.
- Beautification through new construction.
This includes but is not limited to overall appearance of the structure, use of landscaping materials, and appropriate signage.
