Green Building

Since Ancon’s inception, we have always looked for opportunities to utilize green building techniques in our projects. Today more than ever with the high cost energy, it pays for owners to incorporate green building technology into new and existing buildings. Ancon has worked with owners and organizations to provide input on local construction practices and the use of regional materials to meet green building objectives on several projects, including an environmental learning center at a local private college.

According to the U.S. Green Building Council, www.usgbc.org, breakthroughs in building science, technology and operations are available to designers, builders and owners who want to build green and maximize both economic and environmental performance, providing environmental, economic and health benefits.
