Doug VonGunten Joins Ancon As Project Manager and Estimator

GOSHEN, Ind. - Goshen company Ancon Construction recently hired Doug VonGunten as a project manager and estimator.
VonGunten, a Goshen resident, received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Manchester College in 1993. He has 11 years of experience as a project manager and estimator in the commercial, industrial and institutional construction industry throughout northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
VonGunten’s past projects include work for Bosch Corp. in South Bend, Brandywine School Corporation in Niles, Dowagiac Union School Corporation, Bethel College in Mishawaka, Trinity United Methodist Church in Elkhart, St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church in Syracuse, Jefferson Township Fire Station and Baugo Community Schools.
His job responsibilities at Ancon include cost estimating, bid preparation and proposal writing, directing project activities, managing personnel and field supervisors, and developing and maintaining client relationships.
