Endodontist Breaks Ground for New Goshen Office

Posted: 06/02/2004

GOSHEN, Ind. – Endodontist Dr. Lynn Albrecht broke ground on May 18 for a new dental office to be built by Ancon Construction of Goshen. Located in the Crossroads Professional Park off the US 20 bypass and C.R. 17, the 4,400 square foot facility will house the dental offices and operatories and will also include 1,000 square feet of professional lease space. Target completion for the building is early November.

Albrecht is a graduate of Goshen College and the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He practiced general dentistry from 1989 to 2001 before completing a two-year residency in endodontics at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland. “I always kept specializing in the back of my mind,” he said. “It’s something I always wanted to do in my professional career.” When he returned to Indiana, he bought an endodontic practice in South Bend, with the intention of soon building a new facility in the Elkhart and Goshen area.

“It’s a growing community, and a good place for an office,” said Albrecht. “We can treat patients from Elkhart, Goshen, Middlebury, Warsaw, and even southern Michigan from this location.”

The new office will be equipped with the latest technology for providing both surgical and non-surgical endodontic services. The total dental office area is about 2,900 square feet, compared to the South Bend facility’s 1,100 square feet. “We will continue working in South Bend as needed, but the long term plan is to use Goshen as our only office,” he explained.

Construction is on schedule so far. “We chose Ancon for its reputation,” stated Albrecht. “We talked to a couple of other builders, but with the recommendations we received and the comfort level we had immediately, we felt Ancon was the best choice.”
