Ancon Serves on Thesis Jury at BSU

Ancon recently served on a thesis jury panel at the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State.  The project marked the completion of a Master’s Degree in Architecture for several students.  The thesis jury panel consisted of reviewing and providing feedback for four projects which investigated learning and play at the early childhood level.

Projects centered around concepts such as: how design enhances critical thinking, creative play, collaboration, learning by nature, and place based learning.  “The students did a fantastic job expressing how thinking outside of the box with educational design can reshape how students learn and play in an academic setting.  Many conceptual ideas will be investigated and researched further and possibly implemented in future design-build educational projects here at Ancon,” stated Designer Matthew VanSoest.
