Agdia, Inc and Ancon recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Agdia’s new world headquarters at 52642 C.R. 1 – Elkhart. The 50,000 sqft building responds to the company’s growing needs to expand their research efforts, improve their operational efficiency, and grow their markets.
Construction, which began in September 2012, was overseen by Ancon Architect Todd Miller, Project Manager Steve Brindle, and Field Superintendent Lloyd Yoder. Agdia, Inc is a world leader in providing diagnostic solutions in the agricultural industry. “What makes this project so special is the high levels of sophistication, detail, processes, and compliance the Ancon team had to implement or respond to when partnering with Agdia on this building project. This project represents Ancon’s most complex and comprehensive Design-Build project to date,” states Ancon Designer Matthew VanSoest. The project features a two story lobby, numerous offices and laboratories, an open office, a roof top patio, and incorporates natural day lighting strategies. The building is nestled on a natural 60 acre wooded/prairie site – offering spectacular views and settings within nature.
