Angola Dental Center Holds Ribbon Cutting And Open House

The Herald Republican, Angola – Angola Dental Center opened its doors to the public with an open house Friday to showcase its newly expanded facilities at 205 E. Harcourt Road.  The regional dental facility now covers 9,000 square feet with an expansion of more than 3,300 square feet, including a second story.  More than 125 people visited the open house and ribbon cutting Friday. Angola Dental Center’s new facility is unique in that it offers a modern, comfortable environment. It has an extremely spacious waiting room with vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, a coffee station, a children’s area and computer stations for patients to use while they wait.  One attendee told owner Dr. Guy Moore, “Wow, this is unlike any medical office I have ever been in. It’s amazing and really raises the bar.”  The new facility includes state of the art equipment, including three-dimension imaging, Cerec imaging and a milling unit for same-day crowns, in-office prosthetic lab for same-day dentures and partials.  “We are fully committed to this community and the surrounding communities to provide the highest standard of care possible,”Moore said. “This new facility was a big investment in a shaky economy, but our patients are worth it and they, as well as future patients, deserve the best in modern dental conveniences and treatment. I started out with a handful of employees and we’ve worked really hard to grow, to become better practitioners and to change people’s perception of dentistry.”  The new office includes private patient consultation office, 11 operatories for patient care, a conference room, in-office lab, sterilization areas, kitchen, employee locker room, office for manager and an office for doctors.  Angola Dental employs 23 full time staff including three dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, lab technicians, and office administrators.  The facility was designed and built by Ancon Construction,Goshen, and was just awarded the “Award of Excellence” for medical facilities built this year in Indiana. Moore purchased Angola Dental Center six years ago and has experienced 300 percent growth and has built another dental facility in the Goshen/Elkhartarea.  Angola Dental has more than 20,000 patients of record.  “We take pride in the fact that we are always learning, always growing professionally so we can offer all dental services in one location,” Moore said.  “People shouldn’t have to go to the cities to get advanced care; they should be able to receive the treatment they need right here. Our patients can receive routine care, root canals, implants, same-day prosthetics, same-day crowns, invisalign orthodontics, periodontal treatment, even full-mouth reconstruction right here in Angola, in a top-notch, beautiful facility and we are very proud of that.”
