Ancon is excited to announce that the Evil Czech Brewery is now open in Mishawaka! The $3 million project completely transformed a vacant building into an inviting place for diners. Customers can stand at pub tables or sit back on black leather sofas in the beer lounge. Serving tanks that delineate the bar and restaurant spaces serve as focal points. The building’s architecture and interior design reflect the Industrial Revolution and represents people making products and producing things. In addition to the 200-plus seat inside the restaurant and bar, an outdoor beer garden is planned for the spring.
“The Ancon Team has done it again!” says Matt VanSoest of Ancon. “Todd Miller, Architect and Sean Welty, Project Manager did a fantastic job in the total transformation and retrofit of this building. Ancon has been very influential in the development of the Main Street and Grape Road corridors and this project is a testimony to our continued involvement and investment in the community. The brewery is an attractive destination and its architecture adds to the character of a vibrant Mishawaka.”
