Overview


Ancon Construction performed exterior renovations to Station Number Five in 2001. The original station was built in the 1960s. Ancon used the Design-Build building delivery method to complete this project.

Scope of project included:

    • Design and construct a new metal roof system at station #5, 4,500 square feet.

    • Engineering and permits

    • Demolition

    • Butler Roof System

    • Asphalt shingles

    • Installation of vinyl-faced fiberglass in all roof and wall areas

Overview


Ancon built a new 3,438-square-foot Fire Station addition to the existing facility in 2006 for the Benton Township.  Ancon partnered with Maust Architectural for design services to complete this project.

The key components of the project included:

New Structure: A one-story, wood-framed addition with a total area of 3,438 square feet.

Roof Integration: Integration of the new roof with the existing building to ensure a seamless transition.

Façade Blend: Attention to detail to ensure that the new brick façade harmonized with the appearance of the existing building.

Programmatic Spaces: The new addition was designed to accommodate various programmatic spaces, including:

• 2 Truck Bays
• Wash Bay
• Meeting Room Space
• Office
• Kitchen
• Staff Support Spaces
