Wag’n Tails is a leading company in mobile pet grooming and veterinary vehicles. Ancon Construction designed and built Wag’n Tails corporate office in Granger, Indiana. This new office showcases Wag’N Tails commitment to high-end service for their franchisee owners.
The corporate office is a pre-engineered metal building within the Wag’n Tails campus that includes 15 enclosed offices, a graphics print studio, a wash bay, and a showroom. Ample office space showcases natural light with ceiling clouds that define spaces and improve lighting and acoustics. Inside the office, franchisee owners are able to enter a large warehouse showroom for vehicle pickup and orientation.

Aluminum Insights is a start-up aluminum extrusion manufacturing plant located in Northern Indiana, near Syracuse. The building, specifically designed around the aluminum extrusion process and equipment, is purpose-built for aluminum extrusion and features a lean production process, efficient coordination efforts, and a flexible design to revolutionize the industry.
Collaboration with consultants and equipment supplier, Presezzi – located in Italy, presented challenges such as converting metric equipment models to BIM software. Coordination efforts focused on complex piping systems and electrical conduits.  Concrete forming and pouring expertise was crucial for numerous pits, isolated pads, and MEP coordination. The pre-engineered metal building grid was customized for equipment and process flow, while the building’s length was visually broken down with different wall panel colors. The design allows for future presses and expansion, while also prioritizing natural daylighting and incorporating a solar panel array on the roof.

LazyDays RVÂ updated its facilities in 2022 to include a new larger sales center and improved parking for customers and their RV inventory. Their new sales center includes a welcome center, customer lounge and a covered area for new RV owners to learn about their RV. The new parking areas include a larger paved lot for customer parking and a vastly expanded paved parking lot for their extensive line of RVs.

The Norfolk Southern project entailed constructing a new facility to service locomotives and required an intense focus on accuracy. Ancon placed 1,200 anchor bolts to help support the weight of the train engines that were being repaired. After the bolts were placed, our client laser-measured each of them to confirm they were in the correct position. Of the 1,200 anchor bolts set, not one of them was out of line. When it comes to industrial and manufacturing, Design and Build…precision is critical.
